Mens Fashion Week S/S 2011

From daring shorts to the most classic summer suits and everything in between, Milan had it. Milan once again proved that they rule the kingdom of casual day wear. The overall feeling from Milan was a new youthful energy that emanated from the many basics that were shown on the runways. The palette ranged from military green to dayglo blue to faded grey. Things like shorts, sandals, shirts, light jackets, and sunglasses all had a playfull feeling to them. This got me thinking that the new definition of casual isn't about what you wear but rather the attitude that you carry with the clothes that make them whatever you want.

This was just more of a general review, but I can already tell you my favorite collections were

-Bottega Venetta
-Jil Sander
-Prada
-Calvin Klein
-Emporio and Giorgio Armani's
-possibly more because I really haven't had a chance to digest it all yet.

I am absolutely blank as to what to put as an introduction, so this post is just gonna end up being a useless two sentence launch pad so I can actually begin posting relevant information. The quick run-down is that this blog is going to contain fashion and style related things, from my perspective (that is, the perspective of a 16 year old).
Enjoy.
